Italbiotec is a public-private consortium with the aim of promoting biotechnology through collaboration between universities, research centers and industries.

Its activities are aimed at training and basic and applied research, with prospects of use for industrial purposes.

Italbiotec is oriented to:

• Develop research projects at international, national and regional level;
• Promote the creation of technical-scientific infrastructures of significant interest;
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of post-graduate courses.
